Palmerston North's Greg Blake has had a taste of gridiron and he is keen for more. Following a trip to America to play Arena Football for New Zealand, he said he was looking forward to developing his game further.

Arena Football is a faster-paced version of American Football.
Eight players are on the field at a time and the game is played on a smaller field than traditional American Football, which results in higher scoring games.

"It's just completely different to anything that's in New Zealand and it doesn't really matter what sporting background you come from. You can pick it up," Blake said.
