The biggest football league in the world is coming to Canada. Not the NFL, but Pop Warner.
The Ontario Pop Warner Football League (ages five through 16) will begin play in the fall. League president Stuart Hyman believes the brand name -- Pop Warner operates in eight countries -- will bring in teams and help grow the sport across Ontario.
"This will become a major league in Ontario," he said. "The interest level has been better than expected."
